Adolescence is a phase that many dog owners dread when their perfect pup suddenly forgets all of it’s previous training and starts behaving, well like a teenager!
In this workshop we will focus on re-engaging with your dog and re-establishing your bond now that they are no longer a puppy.
We will cover impulse control and help to show you and your dog how to encourage them to make choices.
This workshop is also ideal for rescue dogs as a session to help them gain trust and engagement with their owner. Rescue dogs are often decompressing when they arrive in their new home and the amount of change they have experienced can be traumatic. Helping them with some exercises to gain trust and build a bond will help you both on your forever journey.
In this two hour workshop you will learn how to motivate your adolescent or rescue dogĀ with a variety of exercises that will work on their focus and engagement as well as key skills like recall and loose lead.
You will receive a handout after the workshop covering the exercises for you to refer back to.
You’ll need to bring plenty of treats with you, a non retractable lead and flat collar.
